Hello, my name is Filip Lesiczka and I am an English Writing major at Kean University.  I will be conducting a writing study for my research class, which will be to study how students react to teacher feedback on their writing assignments.  To be more specific, this study will look into how students receive teacher comments on their assignments, as well as looking at what it is that students want when it comes to feedback from their teachers and professors.  This study will also look at what students get out of the comments on their assignments and how they apply what is given to them in teacher comments to their later writing assignments.  For this study, the subjects will be college students at KU from in their freshman to senior years.  For privacy purposes, no participants name will be given in the study; a pseudonym will be used in place of their actual names.  This study may or may not be conducted over the course of a couple of days to a few weeks, depending on how many participants are recruited for the study, and each session shall take no more than half an hour.  This project will ONLY be read by my classmates and my professor for this research class.  In addition, I'd like to make it known that I humbly thank you for allowing me to take part in this research study.  Thank you for your time.
