As far as planning goes for my research project, I intend to use the book Responding to Student Writers by Mary Sommers, as well as my interview with the participant in my research.  Also, I'm not exactly sure if this is allowed or not, but I'm also thinking of using my own reactions to teacher comments on my assignments as well as how I used and adapted what I learned from those comments to later writing assignments.  I just feel that I can add on to my research using what I already know from experience with teacher comments on my assignments.  But if that's not allowed, then I won't use my own experience in this research.  That's as much as I have planned so far for this research.
